Position: Optometrist

At Briargrove Eye Center, we are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent eye care services and have a strong commitment to patient satisfaction. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on exam results
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
• Educate patients on proper eye care and answer any questions they may have
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Licensed to practice optometry in the state of Texas
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
