Position: Optometrist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Optometrist to join our team at Viva Eye Care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their vision and overall eye health. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess patients’ vision and eye health
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Detect and diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders
• Provide pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Valid optometry license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Position: Ophthalmologist

We are also looking for a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our team at Viva Eye Care. The successful candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions and diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical procedures to correct vision problems, such as LASIK and cataract surgery
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
• Prescribe medications and therapies to manage eye health issues
• Provide emergency eye care services as needed
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and eye care technology

Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
• Board certification in Ophthalmology
• Licenses to practice medicine and perform surgeries
• Strong surgical skills and expertise in managing complex eye conditions
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach

Position: Optical Goods Specialist

We are also in need of an Optical Goods Specialist to help our patients find the perfect eyewear solutions at Viva Eye Care. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fashion and a passion for assisting patients in selecting the right frames and lenses for their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames that complement their face shape and personal style
• Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyeglasses
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual requirements
• Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
• Stay current on the latest eyewear trends and fashion styles

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the optical industry preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of lens materials, coatings, and treatments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
