We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. As a Loan Processor at Sam Houston Mortgage, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that mortgage applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications to ensure all required documents are included
• Verify applicant information, such as employment and income
• Order and review credit reports
• Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to gather additional information as needed
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan files

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Loan Processor or similar role
• Knowledge of mortgage lending practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with loan processing software
