Job Title: Lodge Manager
Job Description
QutiePi is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lodge Manager to oversee the operations of one of our premier properties. As the Lodge Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success and profitability of the lodge while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge, including guest check-in/check-out, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Train, supervise, and motivate lodge staff to deliver exceptional service to guests
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor and analyze lodge performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and drive bookings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and supplies effectively to minimize waste and maximize cost savings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in a lodge or hotel setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)
