Job Title: Investment Securities Analyst
Location: New York City, NY
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on potential investment opportunities in the securities market
- Evaluate financial statements, market data, and economic trends to make informed investment decisions
- Develop financial models and projections to assess the potential return on investment
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and investors
- Monitor and track the performance of existing investments in the portfolio
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and other team members to optimize investment strategy
- Stay informed about market developments and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in investment analysis or securities research
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- CFA or CPA certification is a plus
