Position: Bartender

As a Bartender at Unique African Cuisine Bar & Grill, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that all guests have an unforgettable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent communication skills, and a friendly personality.

Responsibilities:

• Create innovative and delicious cocktails using fresh ingredients
• Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar
• Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create cocktail pairings for special events

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of different types of liquor and cocktail recipes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid TABC certification

Position: Server

As a Server at Unique African Cuisine Bar & Grill, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion
• Answer questions about the menu items and make recommendations
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a server in a fast-paced restaurant
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
