Currently, we are looking to hire a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the City, Village & Township Government category. As a City, Village & Township Government Specialist, you will play a key role in helping to ensure that all individuals have access to equal opportunities in public sector employment. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community and contribute to the advancement of affirmative action initiatives.

Job Title: City, Village & Township Government Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement affirmative action plans for city, village, and township government agencies
  • Conduct audits and analyze data to assess compliance with affirmative action regulations
  • Collaborate with government officials and stakeholders to promote diversity and inclusion in hiring practices
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for affirmative action compliance
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of affirmative action programs and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Policy, or a related field
  • Previous experience working in affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, or diversity and inclusion roles
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to affirmative action
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports
