Position: Counselor

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients struggling with drug abuse, addiction, and mental health issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients’ needs and goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress.
• Collaborate with clients’ families, healthcare providers, and other support systems to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
• Stay current on trends and best practices in counseling and addiction treatment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensed or certified counselor with a minimum of 2 years of experience in addiction counseling.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches for substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and crisis management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
