Job Title: Mover

Job Description:

As a Mover with New World Van Lines, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving household or commercial goods from one location to another. Your duties will include packing, loading, unloading, and transporting items with care and attention to detail. You will work as part of a team to ensure that each move is completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Wrap and pack delicate or valuable items to ensure they are protected during transport.
• Load and unload items onto and off of trucks, ensuring that no damage occurs to the items or the property.
• Drive company vehicles to transport goods to their destination safely and on time.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the moving industry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
