About Mad Science of Houston

Mad Science of Houston is a leading provider of hands-on, interactive science programs for children. We offer a wide range of educational services, including after-school programs, workshops, birthday parties, and summer camps. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for science and technology through engaging, hands-on experiments and demonstrations.

Position: Science Educator

We are currently seeking energetic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Science Educators. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering our exciting and educational science programs to students in schools, community centers, and other venues. You will have the opportunity to engage with students of all ages and inspire them to explore the wonders of the scientific world.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive science programs to students
• Set up and clean up materials for each program
• Demonstrate scientific concepts through hands-on experiments
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
• Interact with students in a positive and encouraging manner
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members

Qualifications:

• A background in education, science, or childcare
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for working with children and inspiring a love for learning
• Ability to manage a classroom and engage students of varying ages
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation for travel to program locations
