Job Title: Police Officer
Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our Police Department as Police Officers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the residents of Southside Place through proactive policing, community engagement, and collaboration with local stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be committed to upholding the law while fostering positive relationships with the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and enforce traffic laws
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct investigations as needed
- Assist with community events and initiatives to promote public safety
- Maintain accurate records and reports for criminal incidents
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age
- Graduation from an accredited police academy
- Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
