Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to evaluate the overall health of patients’ eyes
• Determine diagnoses and develop treatment plans for a variety of eye conditions and diseases
• Perform surgical procedures to correct vision problems, such as cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive errors
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and manage patient outcomes
• Stay current on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education opportunities

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
• Board certification in ophthalmology
• Valid state medical license to practice ophthalmology
• Excellent clinical and surgical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
