About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Services Professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Dr. Livingston and our patients to provide psychological support before and after cosmetic surgery procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting pre-operative assessments, offering counseling services, and developing personalized treatment plans to ensure the emotional well-being of our patients throughout their surgical journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operative psychological assessments
- Provide individual counseling and support to patients
- Collaborate with Dr. Livingston and the medical team to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Offer guidance and education on coping strategies and mental health resources
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related field
- Licensed Mental Health Professional in the state of Texas
- Experience in providing mental health services in a medical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
