Position: Registered Nurse – Transplant Unit

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Description

Transplant Center – Texas Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the transplant unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after transplant surgeries
• Monitor patient vital signs and communicate any changes to the medical team
• Educate patients and their families on post-transplant care and medications
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
• Assist in performing medical procedures as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in transplant or critical care
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
