Position: Physician/Surgeon – Weight Loss Management Specialist

Job Description

As a Physician/Surgeon specializing in weight loss management at our practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Oviedo and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients to determine their eligibility for weight loss procedures
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs
• Performing weight loss surgeries, such as gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy
• Providing pre and post-operative care to ensure successful outcomes for patients
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in surgery and/or bariatric medicine
• Fellowship training in bariatric surgery preferred
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Excellent surgical skills and clinical judgment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
