Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures within the scope of practice
- Evaluate and treat patients with diverse surgical needs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in research and academic activities to advance the field of surgery-general and oncology
- Stay current on medical advancements and best practices
Qualifications:
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in surgery-general and/or oncology
- Valid licensure to practice in the province of Ontario
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
