Position: Community Organizer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Organizer. In this role, you will be responsible for connecting with community members, organizing events and campaigns, and advocating for social change. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with community members and stakeholders
• Organize and lead community events and meetings
• Develop and implement advocacy campaigns
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and volunteers
• Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of our programs
• Represent the organization at coalition meetings and public events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public policy, or a related field
• Previous experience in community organizing or advocacy work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for social justice and equity
