We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Position: Youth Minister

Job Description:

– Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, including Bible studies, discussions, and fun activities
– Develop and implement impactful youth programs that help young people grow in their faith
– Provide pastoral care and support to teenagers in our church community
– Collaborate with other church leaders to integrate youth ministry into the overall mission of the church
– Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth activities and events
– Build relationships with youth and their families to encourage participation and involvement in church life
– Organize and participate in youth retreats, mission trips, and outreach initiatives
– Stay current on trends in youth ministry and implement best practices to engage and nurture young people

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in ministry, theology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Previous experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting
– Strong understanding of the Bible and ability to communicate its teachings effectively to young people
– Passion for working with teenagers and helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of volunteers and staff members
– Commitment to the Christian values and beliefs of the Church of Christ
