We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team in the following roles:

1. Psychiatrist

As a Psychiatrist at Dr. Shari S Sistrunk, MD, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatments to our diverse patient population. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health disorders
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
• Active state medical license
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

2. Pediatric Psychiatrist

We are also seeking a Pediatric Psychiatrist to join our team and provide specialized mental health care to children and adolescents. In this role, you will work closely with pediatricians and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care that supports the overall well-being of our young patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents
• Collaborate with families and schools to support treatment goals
• Provide consultation to pediatricians and other providers on mental health issues
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Experience working with a pediatric population
• Knowledge of developmental psychology and pediatric mental health
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with children and families
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

3. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Join our team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and make a difference in the lives of our patients. In this role, you will work under the supervision of our Psychiatrists to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling services
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations
• Educate patients and families on mental health issues and treatment options

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
• Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Active state APRN license
• Experience working in a mental health setting
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
