Position Available: Machinist

As a Machinist at B & C Machine Works, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus
