Job Title: Physician-Surgeon
Job Description:
As a physician-surgeon at Janet Pate, MD, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in pediatric patients. You will perform surgical procedures as needed, working closely with our team of nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers. In addition to providing direct patient care, you will also participate in multidisciplinary care conferences, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and stay current on the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient consultations and physical examinations
- Diagnosing and treating medical conditions
- Performing surgical procedures in accordance with best practices
- Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in on-call and emergency rosters as required
- Engaging in continuous professional development and education
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in pediatrics and surgery
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state
- Proven experience in pediatric surgery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
