Job Title: Automobile Machine Shop Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automobile Machine Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and be familiar with operating a variety of machine tools to produce automotive parts. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machine shop environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with CNC machining is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
