We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. Line Technician
As a Line Technician at Cherryland Electric Co-op, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground electric distribution lines. This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electric distribution lines
- Respond to power outages and emergency situations
- Operate bucket trucks and other specialized equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL license
- Experience in line work preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
2. Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative at Cherryland Electric Co-op, you will be the first point of contact for our members, assisting with billing inquiries, service requests, and account management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist members with billing inquiries and account management
- Process service requests and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in person
- Resolve member complaints and discrepancies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills
