Open Position: Gas Technician

Job Description:

As a Gas Technician at Columbia Gulf Transmission, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing natural gas pipelines and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of natural gas to our customers. Your primary duties will include:

• Inspecting pipelines for leaks and corrosion
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment
• Responding to emergency calls and conducting repairs as needed
• Assisting with the installation of new pipelines
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure operational efficiency

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in the natural gas industry is preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
