We are looking for a talented and passionate Optometrist to join our team

As an Optometrist at Dr. John D O’Neill, OD, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and help improve their vision and overall eye health. We are committed to providing excellent care and building long-lasting relationships with our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health
  • Diagnose and treat visual problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
  • Prescribe corrective lenses, such as eyeglasses or contact lenses
  • Identify and manage eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
  • Educate patients on proper eye care and maintenance
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
  • Valid optometry license in the state of Illinois
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
