Position: Door Repair Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Door Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing various types of doors, including wooden, metal, and glass doors. This individual should be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect doors to determine the extent of repairs needed
• Repair or replace damaged door frames, hinges, locks, and other hardware
• Sand, stain, and refinish wooden doors to restore them to their original condition
• Install weather-stripping and seals to improve energy efficiency
• Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in door repair or related field
• Knowledge of different types of doors and their components
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
