Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced Funeral Directors to join our dedicated team.

Job Title: Funeral Director

Location: Bellaire, Texas

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with families to plan funeral arrangements and discuss their specific needs and preferences
• Coordinate all aspects of the funeral service, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics
• Arrange for transportation of the deceased, including embalming and preparation for viewing
• Ensure all legal requirements are met, including obtaining permits and death certificates
• Provide support and guidance to grieving families throughout the funeral process
• Collaborate with clergy, florists, and cemetery staff to ensure a seamless funeral service
• Handle all paperwork and financial transactions related to funeral arrangements
• Maintain a clean and organized funeral home environment
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• Valid Funeral Director license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Funeral Director
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and sensitive demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and funeral home software
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Knowledge of funeral industry regulations and practices
