Position: Interior Designer

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is seeking talented and creative Interior Designers to join our team. ASID is a leading professional organization for interior designers with a mission to advance the interior design profession and communicate the impact of design on the human experience. As an Interior Designer at ASID, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that positively impact the lives of individuals through thoughtful and innovative design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
• Create design concepts and mood boards that align with clients’ vision and budget
• Develop detailed design plans, including furniture layout, color schemes, and material selection
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of design projects
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
• Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the interior design industry
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and space planning
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• NCIDQ certification is a plus
