We are Hiring – Interior Designers & Decorators

Are you a talented and creative interior designer looking to join a team of like-minded professionals? MAI Memorial Antiques & Interiors is currently seeking experienced interior designers and decorators to help our clients bring their design visions to life. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from homeowners to businesses, and create spaces that are both functional and beautiful.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and timeline
• Create detailed design plans, including furniture layouts, color schemes, and material selections
• Source furnishings, accessories, and artwork that complement the overall design concept
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and successful project completion
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the design process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial design
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines

In this role, you will help us curate our collection, assist customers in finding the perfect pieces for their homes, and contribute to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate antiques and used furniture to determine authenticity and value
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing pieces that meet their style and budget
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring all items are properly displayed
• Collaborate with the interior design team to recommend pieces for client projects
• Stay up-to-date on current design trends and market demands

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in antiques, furniture, or home decor sales
• Knowledge of different furniture styles, historical periods, and materials
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team
