We are currently hiring for the following position:
Position: City Planner
Job Description:
- Develop and implement comprehensive city planning programs and policies
- Conduct research and analysis on land use, transportation, housing, and economic development issues
- Coordinate with government agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders to gather input and feedback on planning initiatives
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for city officials and decision-makers
- Review development proposals and ensure compliance with zoning regulations and environmental guidelines
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of planning projects on the community and make adjustments as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in city planning or a related field
- Knowledge of zoning regulations, land use principles, and environmental planning
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals
