Job Description

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at J Patterson Mortgage Lending, you will play a crucial role in helping prospective homebuyers secure the financing they need to purchase their dream home. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, evaluating their financial situation, and recommending the best mortgage products to meet their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clients’ financial information to determine eligibility for various loan products
• Guide clients through the mortgage application process and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure timely loan processing
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings
• Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other key referral sources

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, guidelines, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Active NMLS license
