Position: Investment Securities Analyst

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Investment Securities Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a passion for analyzing market trends and investment opportunities. As an Investment Securities Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and evaluating potential investment opportunities, monitoring market trends, and providing recommendations to our trading team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of investment securities, including equities, options, and futures
• Analyze market trends and provide insights into potential investment opportunities
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support investment decisions
• Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to develop and implement trading strategies
• Monitor and track the performance of investments to identify risks and opportunities
• Communicate investment recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in investment research or securities analysis
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment principles
• Experience with data analysis and financial modeling
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• CFA or other relevant certifications are a plus
