Position: BBQ Pitmaster

Are you passionate about barbecue and skilled in the art of smoking meats to perfection? Henderson & Kane General Store is looking for a talented BBQ Pitmaster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of smoked meats, such as brisket, ribs, and sausage, using our signature rubs and sauces.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the smoker to ensure consistent temperatures
• Trim and season meats according to our recipes
• Cook meats to the proper doneness and tenderness
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new barbecue menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the BBQ area

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a BBQ Pitmaster or similar role
• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and smoking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Food Handler’s certification is a plus
