Position: Line Cook
Gyros Express & More is a bustling Greek restaurant located in the heart of downtown. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a similar fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of Greek cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Food Handler’s Certificate is preferred

- Strong knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- TIPS or other relevant certification is a plus
