We are Hiring: Volunteer Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy to attract individuals who are passionate about serving the community
• Coordinate and schedule volunteer activities, ensuring that all events and programs are adequately staffed
• Train and onboard new volunteers, providing them with the necessary information and tools to succeed in their roles
• Communicate effectively with volunteers, providing updates on upcoming opportunities and addressing any concerns in a timely manner
• Collaborate with church leadership to identify areas of need and develop new volunteer programs to address those needs
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and contributions, recognizing outstanding achievements and milestones

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in volunteer coordination or a related field is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A passion for serving others and a commitment to upholding the values and mission of our church
• Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
