Job Description

Burckhardt Compression US Inc is seeking a Compressor Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Compressor Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of reciprocating compressors for various industrial applications. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and commissioning of reciprocating compressors
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of compressor systems
• Identify and repair mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineering and customer service teams to meet client requirements
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in compressor installation and maintenance
• Strong mechanical skills and understanding of industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Certification in compressor technology is a plus
