Job Title: Child Care Worker

Job Description:

As a Child Care Worker at Houston Gateway Academy, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students. You will be responsible for supervising and engaging with children during before-school, after-school, and summer programs. Your primary duties will include:

• Supervising children and ensuring their safety at all times
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Assisting with homework help and academic support
• Providing snacks and meals in accordance with school guidelines
• Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Passion for helping children succeed
