Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work with students who have a range of learning disabilities and special needs, providing personalized instruction and support to help them reach their full potential. As a Special Education Teacher at ABC Word Academy, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your students and help them overcome challenges to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide specialized instruction in reading, writing, and other language skills
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment for students
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• State certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping students succeed
