We Are Hiring:

Shady Grove Fertility in Houston – Texas Medical Center is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Infertility Counselor to join our team. As an Infertility Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing emotional support and guidance to patients as they navigate the challenges of infertility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for patients experiencing infertility
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients throughout their fertility treatment journey
• Educate patients on coping mechanisms and stress management techniques
• Collaborate with other members of the fertility team, including physicians and nurses, to develop personalized treatment plans
• Participate in patient education seminars and support groups
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, preferably in a healthcare or fertility setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
