Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor at ARG Drug Rehab Centers, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients struggling with addiction. You will work closely with other members of the treatment team to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for each client
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care
• Provide education and support to clients and their families

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field
• Licensed or certified as a substance abuse counselor
• Experience working in a drug rehab center or similar setting
• Strong understanding of addiction and mental health issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
