Position: Physical Therapist
As a Physical Therapist at Vasilios Mathews, MD, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including athletes, patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, and individuals seeking to improve their overall mobility and function. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and guiding patients through exercises and therapies to improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion. This position requires strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to care, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient outcomes
- Educate patients on proper techniques for at-home care and self-management
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Certification in specialty areas such as orthopedics or sports medicine preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
