At Houston Opioid Recovery, we are currently seeking passionate and experienced professionals to join our team. Position: Mental Health Counselor

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to patients struggling with opioid addiction
• Assess patients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Conduct psychoeducation sessions to help patients develop coping skills and facilitate recovery
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, particularly opioid addiction
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based counseling techniques and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
