Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Optical Goods Specialist to join our team. The primary role of the Optical Goods Specialist is to assist customers in selecting the perfect eyewear that suits their individual needs and preferences. This position requires a strong understanding of optical goods and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Help customers choose the right eyewear based on their prescription, face shape, and style preferences
• Provide accurate information about different types of lenses, coatings, and frames
• Assist customers with adjustments and fittings of eyewear
• Process payments and handle transactions using our point-of-sale system
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure products are displayed attractively
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the optical industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of different types of lenses, frames, and coatings
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
