Position: Oil Well Drilling Engineer

Location: Midland, Texas

Job Description:

As an Oil Well Drilling Engineer at Pioneer Drilling Company, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the drilling operations at our oil well sites. You will work closely with our team of drilling and completion engineers to ensure the successful execution of drilling projects. Your main duties will include:

• Developing drilling plans and procedures
• Supervising the drilling rig crew
• Maintaining accurate drilling records
• Troubleshooting and resolving drilling issues
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil well drilling
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques and procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
