Position: Youth Pastor

Location: Mount Hebron Baptist Church, City, State

Job Description

Are you passionate about working with young people and helping them grow in their faith? Mount Hebron Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Youth Pastor to join our team. The Youth Pastor will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our youth ministry, including weekly gatherings, retreats, service projects, and special events.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive youth ministry program
• Building relationships with youth and families within the church and community
• Planning and leading engaging and relevant youth activities and events
• Providing spiritual guidance and counseling to youth
• Recruiting and training volunteers to assist with youth ministry
• Collaborating with church leadership to align youth ministry with the overall mission and vision of the church

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Youth Pastor position at Mount Hebron Baptist Church will possess the following qualifications:

• A deep and abiding faith in God and a strong commitment to the teachings of the Baptist tradition
• Previous experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to inspire and motivate others
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (theology, ministry, etc.) is preferred
• A willingness to undergo a background check and adhere to the church’s child protection policies
