Job Title: Steel Detailer Structural
Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Steel Detailer Structural to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in detailing structural steel components for a variety of commercial and residential projects. The Steel Detailer will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare detailed drawings for structural steel components using AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Coordinate with project team to ensure drawings are accurate and meet project specifications
- Review architectural and structural drawings to identify conflicts or discrepancies
- Communicate with fabricators, contractors, and vendors to resolve design issues
- Assist in creating material take-offs and cost estimates for projects
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in structural steel detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Strong knowledge of structural steel components and construction methods
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
