Position: Movers

We are currently looking for experienced movers to join our team. As a mover at A-1 Affordable Movers, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently packing, loading, transporting, and unloading our clients’ belongings. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all items arrive at their destination in the same condition they left in.

Job Responsibilities:

• Wrap and pack items securely to prevent damage during transit
• Load and unload furniture and boxes onto and off of moving trucks
• Drive moving trucks to and from clients’ locations
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Ensure all moving equipment is properly maintained

Requirements:

• Prior experience in the moving industry
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Position: Piano & Organ Movers

In addition to movers, we are also seeking experienced piano & organ movers to join our team. Moving delicate and valuable instruments such as pianos and organs requires a special set of skills and attention to detail. If you have experience moving these types of items, we would love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely move pianos and organs from one location to another
• Ensure that instruments are protected from damage during transit
• Specialize in moving delicate and valuable items
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns

Requirements:

• Prior experience in moving pianos and organs
• Knowledge of proper techniques for lifting and transporting delicate items
• Attention to detail and a careful approach to handling valuable instruments
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work well in a team environment
