Job Title: Scrap Metals Inspector

Job Description:

As a Scrap Metals Inspector at A & A Metals Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our metal recycling process. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming scrap metal materials, sorting them based on their composition, and preparing them for recycling. This position requires keen attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming scrap metal materials for quality and compliance with company standards
• Sort and categorize scrap metals based on their composition and type
• Weigh and record scrap metal materials accurately
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and cranes to move and transport materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in scrap metal recycling industry preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Forklift certification a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
