Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Merchandise Manager to join our team. The General Merchandise Manager will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing, pricing, and merchandising of our general merchandise products. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a keen eye for market trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability
• Manage the purchasing process, including vendor selection, negotiations, and inventory management
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
• Create pricing strategies to maximize margins while remaining competitive in the market
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional campaigns
• Train and mentor a team of merchandising professionals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in merchandising or retail management
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing merchandising strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and merchandising software
