We are Hiring: Independent Living Support Worker
Above and Beyond Caring is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Independent Living Support Workers. As an Independent Living Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing them with the support they need to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and household chores
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities
- Assist individuals in developing and achieving their goals for independent living
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and document individual progress and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
